Phew. I'm tired. Today was my first day going to work since August of 2011. For the next 3 months, our days will go like this:
Wake at 6 AM: get dressed, pour some coffee, empty dishwasher. Nurse Aurelia when she wakes up around 6:30, and get girls changed. Have family breakfast, which usually consists of fruit and yogurt.
Head to work at 7:15 AM. Try to look like I know what I'm doing (okay, just kidding) until I pump at 10 AM. Grab some lunch around Noon, pump again at 2 PM.
Get home at 5 PM and enjoy lots of snuggles. Play, start dinner, eat, give girls baths, nurse Aurelia, bedtime stories and then to bed I said, around 7:15 PM.
Dishes, laundry, e-mail, {possibly} blogging, {probably} wine, a little TV with Mike and to bed by
This post was supposed to have pictures...but I forgot. And I'm too exhausted to care. Today was hard -- more on that later. For now I think I need to get some sleep.

1) picking out my clothes and the babies clothes the night before
2) having extra pumping parts and putting the pumping parts in the dishwasher at the end of the day
3) having a large button down shirt or sweatshirt to wear while pumping... because it gets chilly

Another random thought - you had mentioned that this is high paying contract work. Be careful. Because they don't pay your benefits, etc, they often don't take out taxes on contract work and require you to file your own separately. I don't know how tax law works but often this means that you fall into a higher tax category than if you were a full-time employee with benefits. I remember my husband having to pay nearly 50% in taxes on a month of contract work. It was a huge hit when tax time came because it meant shelling out a lot of money that we weren't expecting to have to shell out. I would look in to it ASAP before you make plans for the money you will be making.
