Super Incredible Big Sister Carina! Pear Tree Greetings - Review & Giveaway CLOSED

Carina is beginning to take more of an active interest in what Aurelia is up to on a daily basis. She wants to be right next to her when she's playing in the bouncer or gym, relaxing in the rock n' play, and even when I'm feeding her. Unfortunately she still doesn't quite grasp the fact that the baby is delicate and she needs to be gentle. I have had to stop her from hitting and kicking Aurelia, poking her in the eye, pulling her hair, and trying to pick up her like she does her own baby dolls. That last one usually results in Carina dragging them around by their feet so I wasn't about to wait and see what would happen in this case...

I try to tell her as often as possible that she is a fantastic big sister. I remind her that Aurelia looks up to her and that great big sisters are nice and helpful towards their little sisters. To reinforce this, we received a special new book personalized for Carina from Pear Tree Greetings.

It is entitled The Super, Incredible Big Sister Carina and when I first read it to Carina she insisted that I read it not once, twice, or three times...but four times. With a smile on her face she clapped along at the end of the story when everyone gives the amazing big sister her award.

The book is hardcover, has 20 pages, and contains illustrations that are fun and colorful. Carina's name appears a number of times in the story, and Aurelia's does as well. The story rhymes and makes her so happy whenever we read it. It's full of positive and encouraging aspects of being a big sibling.
