Aurelia,
You are one month old and I can't believe how fast that month flew. You are such a happy and mellow baby. You rarely cry - you just make a grunting sound that makes me laugh every time I hear it. Most nights you sleep for one 4.5-6 hour stretch and I could not be more thankful.
Milestones:
We *think* we saw your first {non-gas induced} smiles just a few days ago! We took your first road trip down to Philly to visit your grandparents and aunt and you slept almost the whole way both rides. THANKS :) You also slept for 8 hours straight one night last week. Way to go!
Loves:
Nursing, sleeping, and being held are your favorite things to do (surprise, surprise!) You also love being in the Moby wrap. You fall asleep almost instantly after I put you in it. You have also been enjoying your play gym and bouncer. You seem conflicted when it comes to pacifiers. Every now and then you'll take it and cry when it falls out, but most of the time you just gag on it and get angry when we try to put it in.
Hates:
Getting put down! You are so snuggly and prefer to sleep on our chests or in our arms. Diaper changes aren't your favorite, either.
Weight & height:
At your 2 week appointment you were 21 inches and 8 lbs. 11 oz. - you had gained 2 lbs. since discharge! I'm not sure what you are officially quite yet, but a rough bathroom scale estimate says you are 10.5 lbs. now. Wow! Looking at you, you look so much bigger and filled out than you did even a week or so ago. Amazing the rate at which you grow this early on. At about 2 weeks old you had outgrown your Newborn size diapers and clothes! Some of your 0-3 Month clothes are getting pretty snug, as well.

Carina was a bit more expressive at 1 Month - the photos crack me up (sorry for the poor quality, I don't know what was wrong with my old camera).
