Being the huge geek that I am, one of my proudest accomplishments was getting an 800 on the Math SATs. Maybe Carina will excel at Math, too? I scoured Amazon for quite some time looking for a math related toy for her and stumbled upon the Melissa & Doug Abacus
. $13 and 2 days later (yay for Amazon Mom!) we opened the box and let her have at it.
Of course she won't understand how to use it in a mathematical way for a number of years, but in the meantime she can have fun with the different color beads
gnaw on it.
