In 6 months time, her hair has fallen out and is now growing back. Her big beautiful eyes have changed from steel blue to light brown. She went from 19th percentile in weight to 80th percentile (that's why I call her my hammy ham ham). No longer expressionless, she is now smiling and laughing. Once so tiny and weak, she is now trying to stand and bounce as often as possible.
The growth that we, as adults, go through in 6 months is negligible, if at all. Can you believe the difference that 6 months makes in our babies?
I continue to be in awe of this little growing person. Each day brings something so new and exciting. I don't want to miss even a minute.
11 words of geekdom:
They grow too quickly in my opinion. I see newborn or in our case preemie clothing and can't believe they fit into it this time last year, then I almost cry. She's so cute and looks like a super happy baby too!
It's amazing how fast they change and grow in the course of 2 years. I still look at Olivia and think "Wow, her legs are really long now!"
Too true!
I just read that the rate of growth in the 1st year of life is the most rapid of a lifetime. Crazy.
Such sweet images! It made me teary and inspired me to drag out all Evan's monthly photos.
It is absolutely amazing! Truitt has done the opposite though going from the 80 something down to the 30 something percentile but he's just so long (and active!). I need to update Truitt's grown collage!!!
Happy half year bday! :D I just want to snuggle her! She's too adorable! six months time in our babies is amazing! Even for my 6-year old it's amazing!
Happy happy 6 months! What a great change eh? I can't imagine what the next 6 months are gonna be like.
She sure has grown a lot!

Have a great day :)
Noooo it can't be that time already. Emmett is 6months old in a couple days and the time is going by too fast. My boys are opposite from your girls, my oldest was my chubby boy. His little baby fat rolls reminded me of this:

Emmett is smaller than his brother but still kind of chubby. It's amazing how different they are.
