Happy Father's Day

To all of the Dads, Dads-to-be, and men wanting to be Dads out there, Happy Father's Day.  I hope that you had an enjoyable day, and that you felt celebrated and appreciated.

We are still on vacation in Philly and are having such a great time.  Father's Day for M started with sleeping in and then playing the Oboe at Mass at Villanova. It is one of his favorite things to do, and it has been quite some time since he has been able to do it. Then we spent the afternoon visiting with friends and family.

Seeing how happy our baby girl is, I don't think anyone could doubt that she has a truly amazing Dad. Edited: I wrote this post very late last night when I was so tired and it just doesn't do M justice. Please forgive me, babe. From changing poopy diapers at 3:30 in the morning to bouncing Carina on your lap even though you're dead tired to rocking her to sleep for upwards of an hour when all else fails...you are fantastic. Carina knows you, reaches for you, loves you. I couldn't ask for anything more.

So here's to M, Father extraordinaire...

















Carina is so lucky to have you as her Dada.
