A Mommy friend of mine with two adorable little boys recently opened up shop on Etsy. Mama Chaos makes adorable crocheted baby and children's hats, headbands, and booties, as well as beautiful handmade pillowcase dresses.She asked me what colors I like for Carina, and then custom made her the stunning purple, blue, and green dress and matching headband below. This 6-12 Month size fits Carina (almost 6 months) very well, but there is a lot of room for her to grow in it as well; the ribbon ties at the shoulders make the dress adjustable. I would imagine we'll be able to put the dress over a long sleeve onesie and/or pants this winter. The print is so cute and unique; you definitely won't see another baby wearing anything like this. The headband is super soft and doesn't leave marks on Carina's giant head. She loves wearing this outfit!
M isn't a huge fan of frilly pink and is indifferent towards most mass-produced baby clothes. When he saw her in this dress for the first time, he immediately remarked, "that is my favorite outfit of hers...ever." She wore it to church last week and we were bombarded by people (some we knew, some we didn't) who proceeded to fawn and gush all over her. I have never had so many people comment on her clothes before. It seems that everyone loves this outfit!
I am also extremely impressed by the craftsmanship and durability of this dress. We've run it through the washer and dryer a number of times now and Carina chews on it, yet it still looks as perfect as the first time we put it on her.
